Simple Church Together means we desire to live like Christ together. Simple Church Together gathers in different places, on different days and at different times for Strength, Encouragement, Networking, and Training ( S.E.N.T.)
Questions:
1. Where do we meet?
We meet wherever and whenever. Church is not the place but the people.
2. Who is the pastor?
Johnny Mengarelli is a senior leader in the body of Christ. There are not titles that we go by. We all depend on each other and depend on Holy Spirit to teach us through the Word of God. We are all called to fulfill the commission of Christ; it was never meant to be on the shoulders of one individual. The Church has to be the Church to the world.
3. What is the format?
We meet together and live together as the church. Some meetings will be together for supper or a drink of coffee. Some will be together to worship and the studying of God's word. Sometimes we are out in the community together being the church and serving others. There is no time limit and there is no service times. Church life is just that Church life.
4. What about tithes and offering?
We follow the New Testament belief system of giving found in II Corinthians 9. We give out of our abundance and the set amount is determined by the giver and through their relationship with Christ. God does not bless us because we give 10%. God blesses us because we are his Children and we are obedient to Him.
5. How does the church operate?
We have a simple church mentality. We choose to keep church simple and pour all our resources into the people that are hurting and of need of a Savior. We believe strongly in discipleship and desire to see every new and older believer reach their full potential in Christ. Leadership is meant to help, steer, empower, encourage, and equip the believers for the glory of God.
